12 Days / 11 Nights - Casablanca - Marrakesh - Zagora - M'hamid- Ouarzazate -Taroudant - Agadir - Essaouira - Casablanca
Day 1-2: Casablanca- Marrakesh
Fly into Casablanca and visit the economic capital of Morocco . , Visit the Habbous quarter, and the art deco buildings in the center of the city, Then ride to Marrakech and enjoy your visit of the” red city”. In the evening, dinner at hotel and overnight.
The next day, have a guided tour of the Marrakesh Medina and visit Koranic Schools, ancient tombs and gardens . Enjoy the lively Jmaa el Fna Square at night where performers come to life in circus like shows and sample Moroccan delicacies at the many food stalls.
Day 3 Marrakech
Continue your adventure in the imperial city of Marrakech; discover the gardens of la Menara, the exotic palm trees of la Palmeraie, and stop at the Gardens of La Majorelle. After an independent lunch, spend an afternoon of personal exploration and get ready for a Dinner and fantasia show at the famous Chez Ali. Enjoy a very folkloric spectacle with traditional food, music under a caidal tent while traditional cavaliers perform centuries old horse riding routines.
Day 4: Zagora
Early morning pick-up at the hotel then drive over the High Atlas Mountains and down into the Draa Valley ;continue to Zagora where you'll be staying in charming bed and breakfast with a nice pool to cool off and relax in the hot summer.
Day 5: Tamegroute | Mhamid | Sahara Desert Camp Out
After a copius local breakfast, drive a couple more hours to M'hamid, where you’ll start off your camel trek at the edge of the sahara dersert. Choose you r favorite camel, and ride slowly into the desert as caravans of old times. Visit the holy town of Tamegroute along the way, known for its library with ancient manuscripts. Enjoy a meal under the stars, and sleep in a rustic nomadic tent.
Day 6: Ouarzazate
Departure to Ouarzazate, the drive will take four hours. Visit the Atlas Studios, Morocco’s “Hollywood” where big blockbusters have been filmed such as "Gladiator" and "The Mummy".take a guided tour of various movie sets. You can also visit the Kasbah once owned by the Glaouis family who once ruled Morocco; Enjoy meal and night in Atlas nestled hotel.
Day 7 -8 Taroudant-Agadir
Today, you’ll be going on a six hour ride to Taroudent. This charming town is ideally positioned between the mountains and just an hour from the coast. Taroudent is easily explored on foot; enjoy the sights of the old town architecture with its Kasbah and the colorful markets and streets. Taroudent is is well known for its local Berber crafts, enjoy haggling for bargains at the souk including jewellery, carpets, pottery, leather … get settled at hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 8: Agadir | Morocco Surf Camp
After breakfast, take a short drive to Agadir , Morocco's sun capital on the Atlantic coast; enjoy a relaxed stay by the beachside ; take a beginner or advanced surfing lessons or go digging up for Jurassic fossils and learn about the geological history of Morocco. Spend the night at the hotel after a tasty seafood dinner.
Day 10: Essaouira
Today you will continue your adventure on the Atlantic coast of Morocco to Essaouira. Essaouira is a small port city in with an ethnic Mediterranean look. The sound of Jimmy Hendrix's Castles in the Sand is a beautiful soundtrack to fun vacation in Essaouira. Go wind surfing, kite boarding, horseback riding, and even take a family cooking course
Day 11: CASABLANCA
After breakfast, continue up north to the metropolitan city of Casablanca via El Jadida and the charming coastal town of Oualidia where you can enjoy a fish and chips lunch. In Casablanca, go on a sightseeing tour of the city to include an exterior visit of the Hassan II Mosque , the United Nations Square and Place Mohammed V .Enjoy a stroll along the Ain Diab cornice. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 12: DEPARTURE
Transfer to Casablanca Mohamed v International airport and assistance with formalities.
