14 days / 15 nights -casablanca - Rabat – Fes- Oued Ifrane-Merzouga-Erfoud-Ouarzazate-Kasbah Toubkal
DAY 01: CASABLANCA / RABAT (60 Miles)
After your arrival at Mohamed V airport, head to Casablanca the economic capital for a sightseeing tour; The tour includes an exterior visit of the Hassan II Mosque , the United Nations Square and Place Mohammed V .Enjoy a stroll along the Ain Diab boardwalk by the atlantic ocean., have an independent lunch at a restaurant of your choice then off to Rabat the administrative capital of Morocco. Our Rabat city tour will include the great Mohamed V Mausoleum, the Hassan Tower and Place des Oudayas. Check in at the hotel late in the afternoon, have dinner and overnight stay at your comfy hotel room.
DAY 02: RABAT / MEKNES / FES (150 Miles)
After breakfast, get ready for departure to ancient Fes .Enjoy a stop at the Roman ruins of Volubilis and the sacred town of Moulay Idriss I, the burial town of the founder of Islam in Morocco. After an undependent lunch, get ready for departure to Meknes known as "the Moroccan Versailles" which was founded at the end of the 17th Centuryby Moulay Ismail. Meknes ‘s visit will include Bab Mansour, the Hedim Square, the tomb of Moulay Ismail, and the stables and granary . In late afternoon, continue to Fes, check-in at your hotel, have dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 03: FES
After breakfast, get ready to discover the oldest cultural and spiritual imperial city of Morocco. Founded in 790 B.C by Moulay Idriss II, Fes has a lot to offer to its visitors including the Kairouine Mosque, spice market, tanneries and leather market, pottery quarter, henna market, woodcrafters, metal workers, and koranic schools the Medieval Medina. After an independent lunch, explore ancient techniques of the craftsmen at the Arabian House. Head back to hotel, Dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 04: FES / ATLAS HIKING & BERBER HOMESTAY/ OUED IFRANE
After breakfast,, Leave Fès to head south into the Middle Atlas Mountains. Get reday ready for hiking at the foothills of the Middle Atlas, using trails used by Berber villagers to go about their everyday countryside lives. We will meet berber families, and learn about the berber culture, traditions and way of life. After hiking for about five hours, berber style sleeping commodities at Oued Ifrane.
DAY 05: ATLAS MOUNTAINS / ERFOUD/ MERZOUGA DUNES
After hiking in the Atlas Mountains, we will reach the magnificent dunes of the Sahara desert.This trail offers beautiful scenery and landscape, we will pass through the Beni Mguild Berber capital of Midelt, an important center for local carpets. We will enjoy berber cuisine at Errachidia before continuing to Erfoud and to Merzouga dunes. Suit up for a camel ride to the Erg Chebbi and then to our camp site where we’ll enjoy refreshments and dinner . Overnight at the Desert Camp.
DAY 06: MERZOUGA DUNES SUNRISE / ERFOUD
Wake-up to a beautiful sunrise off the Merzouga dunes.Return to Erfoud in a 4X4 where you’ll enjoy a personal exploration day of Erfoud and surroundings. Dinner and in Erfoud.
DAY 07: ERFOUD / TODRA GORGES / TINEGHIR / OUARZAZATE (287 Miles)
Today we’ll be heading west , we will explore the narrow canyon walls of the famous Todra Gorges.. After lunch, we will continue through the Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs to arrive at Ouarzazate. Dinner and overnight .
DAY 08: FINT OASIS / AIT BENHADDOU / OUARZAZATE
Get ready for the exploration of the Oasis situated between two valleys in a 4X4. At the valley we will enjoy hiking through ancient caravan route for about three hours before having lunch along the Douchene River.
Visit of the the fortified Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Return to Ouarzazate. Overnight at the Hotel.
DAY 09: OUARZAZATE / OURIKA VALLEY / IMLIL
Today we’ll be haeding towards the High Atlas Mountain range. We will pass through the Tizi-n-Tickka Pass (7,417 ft), the highest pass in Morocco. We will then explore the Ourika Valley then we’ll head towards Imlil to Kasbah Toubkal. Here we will enjoy a 2-night stay hiking and trekking the Toubkal Massif region of the High Atlas Mountain. Overnight at Kasbah Toubkal.
DAY 10: HIGH ATLAS MOUNTAINS / IMLIL
Today, we will enjoy great hiking accompanied by our local. Overnight at Kasbah Toubkal.
DAY 11: IMLIL / MARRAKESH
After breakfast, get ready to discover the Marrakech the second oldest imperial city known as the “Red City” or "Pearl of the South" .Visit the Koutoubia Mosque, the Bahia Palace ,the Menara and the Saadian tombs. Return to the hotel for lunch. In the afternoon explore the souk and the world's famous Djemaa el Fna place with its circus like shows (story tellers, acrobats, snake-charmers, magicians, etc). Dinenr and overnight.
DAY 12: MARRAKESH
Continue your visit of the beautiful Marrakesh .In the evening enjoy a Fantasia dinner show at the renowned "Chez Ali" restaurant. The fantasia spectacle features camel and horse shows,belly dancers and folkloric troops from different Moroccan regions. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
DAY 06: MARRAKESH / CASABLANCA (150 Miles)
After breakfast, get ready for departure to Casablanca via Settat. Arrival at Casablanca , independent afternoon. t check-in. Dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 07: CASABLANCA / AIRPORT
After breakfast, catch your return flight at Mohamed V International airport.
